Sorry if I posted this in the wrong area but I was just wondering if there are any predators that can live in a 10 gallon. I currently have a climbing perch in a 10 gallon and have another free tank to stock. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions. Thanks

I love Ctenopomas. I have one too. :D They're so cute.

Right now i have a Reed Fish (rope) in a 10 gallon, though i dont know if thats a good size for them.
I know they grow slow, so he'll be ok in there for some time by himself. Probably even a couple years. But i'm moving him to a 20 gallon tonight anyway.

Although i dont really know how predatory they are. I think mine has attacked the female betta and the little feeder i have in there with him because they have little chunks of fin missing.
But he would never be able to fit them in his tiny mouth.

Are you looking for something you could feed live food to?

Then a rope fish might work.

Oh, about the crabs. I thought they were all brakish and marine. Also, i thought they needed some dry land. My LFS carries fiddler and red claw crabs. I was interested in buying some but they told me they need air so i didnt buy any. Anybody know about this?
