Hey guys!

I tried looking on cat e log but it can only display 100 results so im sure im not getting all the possibilities i can.

So like the title says im looking for a predatory cat idea for a future setup. Preferably something thats between 10-12" max size. I was thinking Gulper cat, but they cost a fortune in Montreal. Any other ideas?

get a bullhead, mine hunts feeders if I provide them, and they get around 12-14 if you take care of them.

Someone else who knows more about them will probaly jump in, but i know there are meny species, where the common ones reach sizes like 24inches.
Some of them do grow smaller, and while some of them get large in the wild and smaller in captivity, but still from my understanding something like an 180g, and not 90g should be used for one of the smaller species. Pretty sure about this information but then again might be wrong hopefully someone who knows more will jump in.

bullheads? no. the biggest you are going to find in the wild is probably around 14" and thats pushing it. I fish for them all the time and the biggest I've ever caught was 13". There are 3 species, brown, yellow and black. black bullheads are the smallest of the 3. the brown and yellow bulls are the ones that reach the 1 foot mark generally. Brown bulls can have color variations that give them a mottled lighter spotted look, which are often called spotted bullheads. I have one growing out in a 55g right now. a single bullhead would be fine in a 90gal.

Thanks guys! Im gona look into this bullhead catfish :)

Are they fun fish to keep?
