I would like to know which fish would be a better buy and suits what im looking for best, out of a Payara, Jardini Aro, Silver Aro, ATF, Gold Wolf, Red-highfin wolf, and a snakehead (SH is illegal where i live, but is perfect IMO so its just to have something that is perfect to compare to)

I am looking for something highly predatory and agressive. something that will eat anything smaller than it and try to kill anything that touches the water its in. AS far as size, something that grows inbetween 12 and 24 inches or something close to that. Easy to care for and that just looks mean when you see it. I am most interested in them being predatory and aggressive.

So in your opinion which would be the better buy and best meets my needs?
Also include how much you think I'd have to pay for one and how large a tank it will need (please help I have been looking for a perfect, LEGAL fish for awile and would like to just get one already)

Wolf might work well but I've heard they only like to be active at night. Payara might be a good match also. If memory serves, Payara like a decent current in the tank but are only slightly in the special needs category and feed pretty aggressively. Cross both Jars off the list due to size.

I was going to tell you to check out rhom's but a quick look at the piranha legality sticky shot that idea...
Have you looked into fw barracuda. either rocket gar, you can get a few of them and they only get about 12". Or Red Tail Barracuda, Acestrorhynchus falcatus, they look pretty mean and their usually pretty reasonable. They get around 15" and you can get them for as cheap as $25.

how big of a tank do you have african tiger fish get really big so if you have a 500 gallon tare hanging around then there a good choice but the tank size is important those fish vary alot in sizes the golden wolf might be the best choice as they stay at 12'' max payara and aros get big to

lol ya we will cross out the ATf and aro's for sure now, my tank is a 125 gal. And I hear that payara's and those fresh water cudas do best in schools so cross them out. So that leaves the gold wolf (Hoplerythrinus unitaeniatus right?) Does anybody know where to order one, and how much itll be?
