I wanted to know if anyone had any knowledge of keeping predator haps with other predators like datnoids, my main worry was water conditions but since I live in London the water is just over neutral so all fish are kept in the same water. Would the combination of predatory haps and datnoids work, could you keep other predators like hujeta gars to.

The biggest problem that i see with that is water parameters, I know African hap's require a high ph value <+/- 7.6, and correct me if i'm wrong but Dat's prefer softer more acidic water.

Dats can handle a ph of up to 7.5 and i prefer to keep all my fish with regular tap water for stability over buffering the water so they would be in the same conditions if I kept either one
