Preferred temp. for Obscura?

I have my tank set at 82 degrees, what do you guys set it at?

82 should be ok. They come from the same water as bichir.

mines at constant 79-80 , 82 is a tad high but fine and still in its range as long as it is constant , much better to have a constant 82 than it fluctuating trying to keep at 79

I would set my tank at 82 and stay 82 for the entire day. The only time it fluctuates is from midnight to the morning. The 82 drop to 79 which is not bad since 79 is not cold. If I leave it at 79 then it drops to 76 which is bad news.

yeah that makes sense mate and i would prefer 79 on a night to 76 for the africans . a smallish drop at night is expected and not a bad thing , temp in nature drops at night also ,so as long as your day temps are stable your doing ok at 82 day 79 night
