Preg grey bamboo....

I have a male / female pair of grey bamboos in the 3,700 gallon (along with several brown bandeds and white spotteds - and hundreds of fish). Been keeping a close eye on them as they reached sexual maturity. As of late, she is starting to get a little round. This is a pre-feeding picture. She gets even bigger after she eats. I tried to get a pic of her and the male together so you could see how sleek and muscular he is compared to her blimp-like look.

Now if I could just get the brown bandeds up to size!

Nope. They will stay as part of the display. I'll pull her out to a holding tank that is plumbed into the main system so she can lay them in a safe spot (some of the bigger fish or lobsters might eat the eggs). I'll hatch them behind the scenes and raise them until they are big enough to be out on display in the bigger tank.

Roughly what are the TL for the M/F Grey's when this pic was taken of her? Is this the first batch of wind eggs or have you experienced those already

This will be the first clutch from her (that I know of). She came to me at sexually mature, so I'm not 100% sure of her entire history.
