Preggo or not? Experts?

Hi guys, have had this pearl/leo hybrid for about 6 months. Always thought it was a male until I got some henlei in. Then I saw this a few months later with some bite marks on the outer disc near the tail. I know the video quality sucks, but is this a preggo ray or super fat?

Very hard to say, If you see movement you can be 100% sure

At that size I could go either way

Hard to see but I think that tank needs a little more Love on the Cleaning/maintenance

Hard to tell but deff looks thick compared to the other rays in the tank. U deff need to get them off bloodworms, what a pain in the arse

yeah Vamp, man it sucks cleaning out the worms daily. And everytime I clean the filters, theres so many worms everywhere. But I'm gonna have to see if they are actually preggo before trying to starve/ force shrimp again.

I dont understand why you would wait??
Feed them what you want n just soak the new food in w/the worms... Soon enough they will eat. Some should even take the new food on the first try

Not all fish are created equal bro, some fish take it fast and some dont take it at all. I've tried the soaking method 4 nights in a row. Soaked cut up shrimp/smelt with blackworms overnight. They just go right over the frozen and eat the worms. I dont want to stress them out further by starving them.

Ray is about 12"+-
