Hi guys, have had this pearl/leo hybrid for about 6 months. Always thought it was a male until I got some henlei in. Then I saw this a few months later with some bite marks on the outer disc near the tail. I know the video quality sucks, but is this a preggo ray or super fat?

Why did you think it was a male when there are no claspers? :screwy:
GL on the pregnancy.

Hard to tell but deff looks thick compared to the other rays in the tank. U deff need to get them off bloodworms, what a pain in the arse

yeah Vamp, man it sucks cleaning out the worms daily. And everytime I clean the filters, theres so many worms everywhere. But I'm gonna have to see if they are actually preggo before trying to starve/ force shrimp again.

What size is she? Looks like she is just full.

I dont understand why you would wait??
Feed them what you want n just soak the new food in w/the worms... Soon enough they will eat. Some should even take the new food on the first try :D

I wouldn't wait, even if one was pregnant

Not all fish are created equal bro, some fish take it fast and some dont take it at all. I've tried the soaking method 4 nights in a row. Soaked cut up shrimp/smelt with blackworms overnight. They just go right over the frozen and eat the worms. I dont want to stress them out further by starving them.

Ray is about 12"+-
