Pregnant Female Motoro

Im pretty certain my motoro is preggers - I have watched my male grabbing onto her trying to flip her well over a month ago. she still has a lot of bite marks around the back end of her disk and pelvic fins. Im going to post more pics as she gets bigger, apologies for quality of photos they are taken from an underwater webcam.

yes that was taken in the night, i have put it on the bottom and the rays are very inquisitive you see them very close up. This camera is in my raypond in my fishhouse worth the investment

very cool, I would be watching them while I was at work all day long though, not sure how I would explain that to my boss if he caught me.

Ok some bad news . woke up this morning to find a baby dead pup.... I can beleive this was still born, what do you guys reckon? The female has movement inside her. I beleive we are only just past the 70 day mark....do you think the mother attacked or am i right in saying it still born?

I don't think the mother attacked this one. It's already looking a bit deformed and the disc and pelvic fin isn't fully generated, so I would expect this to be still born

I would say still born too. I think 70 days isn't quite long enough for a healthy pup. Hopefully the remaining ones will be ok. Going to great looking if they have similar patterns to the dead one.

yes i thought that when i saw the pup... shame she died..... i wonder if the pregnancy will continue as normal
