Prego Motoro advice

My motoro is pregnent and this is my first experience so a lot of advice needed on DOs and DONTs. I could clearly see the pup movement today for the first time, i am expecting it should be another 30 to 45 days, is that right? also once the pups are born do i have to move them in a separate tank or i can simply put a divider? Infact i was considering putting the dividrr and separating the female immediately as the male harrasses her and eats skin off her top, will that be ok?

separate the male and if you have a spare tank, tranfer the pups there using the birthing water. I had my first lot and the male harrass the female to the point that it didn't want to stay on the floor and just leans on the side of the tank. It didn't eat for a while, but now back to normal. my male also bit one of the pups.
 
I have put a divider and separated the female into a smaller area, i hope she doesnt get stressed, did not want that once the pups are born other fish may want to harm them.

Hood job! I had a pup sneek under the divider and get munched by a p bass! Pretty sad.
