I've been cleaning this 150g acrylic tank that i bought used, its cleaning up a lot better than i thought it would. I've been using vinegar w/ water 50/50, but now for the hard spots i'm going to use straight vinegar. I actually just put the tank on its side and put a cup full in and move it around, flipping the tank on all sides to get the most out of the mixture.
My question is: should i be concerned with the joints of the tank after them being exposed to straight vinegar, i know how rough that stuff can be to other certain chemicals and what not. Since it is a used tank it has just slight bowing on the front and back but not the sides if that makes a difference.
I was thinking about finding a plastic store to buy some kind of acrylic cement and go through all the joints over again inside the tank to add a little something else to the strength, or that may be overkill.
