Hopefully someone here can give me a few pointers. I've got a couple of specimens that I want to turn into alcoholics. One is a frozen bichir and has never been preserved. The others are fetal spiny dogfish that I've had in formulin for about ten years. I planned on thawing the bichir and just putting him into 70% iso, but I could fix him in the old formulin after the dogfish are out (no new formulin around). Any tips on the transition from formulin to iso for the dogfish? The plan is to get them into specimen jars asap
