Hello All...

So I have my CO2 System all setup in my 125 planted.

I have it on about 4 bubbles per-second.

Now for my questions

1) I just opened my regulator right up and the needle valve on my drop checker controls how many bubbles I am using. Is this the correct way todo this.

2) How many bubbles per second should I have in a 125 planted?

You should target at least a 1 point drop in your ph over the course of the lighting period. I have hard water though...

For example, on my 125 i am running 4 bps @25 psi from 2 needle valves into 2 different reactors...

I have the same issue I'm running like 2bps at 15psi for couple days and ph has been a 7 to a 7.4 no drop at all. If u figure it out let us know. Btw I'm running a 135gal.

If you haven't gotten ph drop, I'm telling you put the gas to it! I run mine so fast I can't count bps. Granted I have just over 500 watts of light over my 180 also. Wait until you have a day off at home. As soon as it comes on, open your needle valve until your double the rate your at. Then wait. Check your tank every hour. As long as your fish don't start gasping for air right at the surface, keep it up. If they do start, turn it down just a little and change a little water.

My advice, get a drop checker if you havent already done so, this will take the guessing out and you can keep your Co2 in range more easily...
