ok...so im def new to the aquarium trade. loving every minute of it but some of my lessons learned are hard lessons. every time i cruise on through the pics on this forum i see amazing detail and some really beautiful specimens. yet whenever i try to take a pic of my fish it always comes out really sloppy and fuzzy. how do you guys do it?
 
i would like to know this to i think the main thing is to have a good camera
 
well i have used both an hp web cam...which i knew was going to suck...and a nikon digital. but believe it or not they both turned out the same
 
most of the time they look alright as long as you have a camera with focus and an action setting.
 
Flash is a major factor when taking pictures because if you dont have the best lighting and dont use it your pics will definitely come out blurry.

if you can use an indirect light that might help with better quality pics I would avoid 35mm
