preventing ich?

ok, there's a lot of threads here that discusses on how to treat ich, how about preventing ich? prevention is better than cure right?

depends onm how big your tank is, if it is small then use something like jungle, lifeguard; but if you have a larger tank say 55 gallons or more the use something like coppersafe.

Quarentining fish and obseving them for about 3 weeks prior to putting them in your main tank is your best bet.

Keep your fish healthy by clean water, adequate water changes, enough space, minimal stress and the correct temperate and you should never encounter ich. I have NEVER experianced the disease in any of my tanks despite not putting fish through a quarentine period.

by the way "if" your fish would get ich, is the raise temp add salkt routine the best or using other alternative like pimafix? is pimafix good?
