price check for rtcxtsn catfish

my lfs has some 4-5 inchers in for 36$. does this sound about right? just curious cause i might pick one up.

i dont know about the price in your country but it doesnt seem that bad. a friend of mine picked up one that size for 30 euro a bit back, so about similar.

back in hong kong a rtc x tsn hybrid would cost about $15US. I've heard that they're pretty cheap over there

I have seen them between $15 and $45 so it is about right. Dont forget that a RTCXTSN will grow at a even more rapid rate its parents. It is bred for food pourposes and you can get a lot of fish sticks out of a full sized one.

My mate has a 18" one at his LFS £70 Thats a cheap fish. any one in the UK with a pond / tank that can hold this fish it could be yours.

They grow very quick my one has gone from nothing to about 15”+ in a year my one is going into its pond in the next week or 2

so i picked this little guy up today and he is about 4 inches. once he gets settled in, i will post pics of him and my other fish. but i just love how he looks like a tsn from one angle and then an rtc from another. awesome. makes me want to get off my butt and build that indoor pond before the years end. haha.

You will need that pond in short order, those things grow fast if you feed them right.
