Price for a group of 3 8" Clown Loaches?

What's a fair price to pay for a group of 3 8" Clown Loaches? I have a chance to buy a few from someone and would like to know a fair price to pay.

I personally have paid and they are worth about $100 in Bay Area for a 8" Loach. This is the price from one hobbyist to another, not a LFS. Just my experience.

If it's the 3 for $400 I think that's pretty fair since they are big older loaches it seems. 12inch loaches go for $400 on the east coast do id buy them.
