Price of a 180 gallon?

What is a good price for a standard 180 gallon aquarium, with stand and canopy?

depends on the type of wood for the stand... asked the guy at my lfs the other day about a 180 i think he said 700 something just for the tank.

There is a 180 on sale at my local fish store. Reg price is $800, on sale for $575 (tank only), Black painted pine stand with 3 doors for $350. $100 for the glass tops.
Not a bad price. For around here!

over 1000$... go bigger then 180 for that money!!! if u are handy make a plywood monster tank for about 300$

I paid 300 for a 125 glass tank at my LFS, nothing else came with it. Best bet is Craigslist, might find one for under 700 pretty easily.

Itll cost more than that. on my 330 i got the wood for free and the glass alone cost $250. Then the fiberglass and sealer. and silicones and epoxy. Thats still alot of money. Only worth it if you go 1000 gallons up.

I agree! Don't build one unless your going 1000 gallons or bigger.

Craigs List is your friend. If your not in a hurry check it out daily and you will start to get a feel for prices in your area. Times are tough and people are foreclosing on their homes. That means cheap larger fish tanks

I got my 450, stand, and filters for $1000

I just bought a 210 with stand for $400.

125's in my area go for $200 on the low end. There's always the saltwater guy saying he paid $4500 for the whole set up less than a year ago
Fact is used fish tanks don't hold their value and no one guarantees they wont leak LOL so hold out and find something cheap!

mine was 575 for tank steel stand and glass lids. I wish i got a 260 instead.
