Price on 4 lined pictus?

Hey my LFS has a 4-lined pictus which is about 7-8", pretty much full grown. I want to pick it up, but I don't want to pay what they have marked, which is $29.99. I bargained them down to $20 including tax, but I still don't want to pay that much. How much would you guys suggest I try to bargain to?

I don't think it is a bad price. Big pictus are not that common of a site. Personally if I liked the fish I would buy it. It isn't weather or not it is a good deal....it is if you like the fish and are going to keep it.

Seems kinda high to me.But if you like it, you'll get your twenty bucks worth back in enjoying the fish.

some of those seem high to me. i sell my 3-4" at 6.99.

Price seems a bit high, I bought mine for six or seven dollars and they aren't slow growers. Mine grew pretty fast. What it really boils down to though is just how badly you want the fish, money replaces itself but this fish may be a one time deal.

If its a nice specimen I would go for it. It's a reasonable price.

It's still there but they haven't called me yet. I think I'll just drop by and get it on payday
