price on L114?

alright my lfs has a L114 at about 3 inches priced at 60 dollars. is that to much?

I Would get it. By the time you pay for shipping for a single one you are gonna have a lot more money spent. Plus the are a cool pleco!

I bought a dozen last year.They were all around 2 inches.Some have really grown fast others are only 3.5 inches.Maybe boys and girls?I payed 25.00 a piece but i bought 12 so i got a deal.They are a great hardy pleco.

I honestly barely see a difference in size on mine. Ive had it for about 5 months now. Its also a little hard to tell the growth of the fish when I rarely get to see it.

They grow kinda on the slow side. I have and 11 inch monster and one at 5 inches. My favorite pleco. Hides less the bigger it is. Grab that one as they are very cool hardy and on the rarer side. Water changes often will definately speed up their growth. And like was said you could get it a little cheaper online but after shipping ? plus you can see the fish that your local shop is selling online orders you are taking a gamble.
