price range?

My lfs has some type of payra, i'm going to get a pic of it today so you all can id it for me. But before that can anyone tell me the price range I should be paying for the following. the fish is probably 6" and will be going in my 10gallon untill I can ensure its parasite free. than will be moved into my 180.

if the size is about 4 to 5 inches? armatus- ive seen anywhere from 100 to 300 bucks. it depends if the seller relly knows what he has. tats and scombs that size usually 20 to 40 bucks. get us a pic, u might get lucky like i did and get a armatus for 40 bucks. watch for one that looks just a little diff from the rest. i got mine that was mixed w a batch of scombs. good luck!

hes 4-6" and is i believe 70$.

if its not an armatus, its too expensive. if its an armatus, scoop it up 4sure!

to late, got there and it was gone, so it either died or was bought .

Most probably wasn't an armatus anyways.. so don't be upset, at 70.00 you can get a nice redtail anywhere..
