Here are some pics of my 4th generation breeders. These fish were at the ACA2006 convention in tank 13.

I am wanting to dump these and raise the 6th gen fry. The 4th gen outcrossed to a Christmas tree Firemouth male. The 6th gen fry are very promising for size and red color! I will raise them in the 180g.

I am wanting to find out what I should ask for these 4-6 inch fish.(breeders)

Any suggestions?

for the pair or just one fish if one fihs 6 inches easily 30.00 or 35.00 for a pair 60..00

I think 50 - 60$ for a pair is a good price i like how the red on your fm's goes from all the way from the mouth to the begining of the tail lot's of fire on those fm's.

I'll trade you!! Give you some of my FM's...maybe some of the Thorichthys pasiones......but really, definately try to get at least $50 for a pair...those are some WICKED FMs! Way to represent. I think this might should be in the buy/sell though....

Right now I am only gauging the price and interest. These are beautiful fish however I am obsessed with creating an albino. I keep getting more and more red pigment instead! I have become frustrated with this set and want to work with the 6th Generation of fish I have now.

If I sell these it will be at least to the end of summer before I have another brood. These would be 7th generation with an out-cross at 4th generation to limit deformities in line breeding. I keep logs and work with 2 to 3 pairs at a time for simplicity reasons.
