Hi guys, I'm searching for a new monster tank and had some price quotes on a 375 gallon (8'x2.5'x2.5') 3/4" glass tank with glass lid at $1300.00 CAD from a LFS. With metal stand another extra $300.00. So tank/lid/stand for total of $1600.00. I was wondering if it's a good price? I dunno much on pricing on huge custom made tanks. What do you guys think of the price?

Thanks guys, just wanted to know if it's a good price. Ya the price on the tank/lid itself was confirmed at 1300.00 CAD straight up taxed included. The stand not 100% for sure at 300 but he said around there maybe slightly more. I would guess between 300-350 for the metal stand.
Another thing is I would like my tank to be as wide as it can(able to fit through my front door). Standard size for front doors are 36" wide. If I went for 8'x3'x2' would it be safe to move the tank on it's side through my front door? If not I will just go for the 8'x2.5'x2.5' as planned.

I could if i cheaped out on the stand and just went with cinder blocks with 2x4 wood and styrophome. It would be one crazy tank but with an ugly stand lol.
