these guys are my dream gecko. they are actually red (my favourite colour), and they are uncommon. when i am out of the house and making the big bucks (lol) these will be at the top of my list

Because not many of them are available in the US. They'll come down in price as soon as more people buy them and start breeding them.

I love knob tailed geckos. There is a breeder on geckoforums.net that breeds them. But yes they are pretty spendy. I don't think I have seen any under a hundred dollars.

Pretty sure crestedgeckos.com is starting to breed those guys, give it a few years and they'll be down to 75-100 per juvie.
