Pricing for L082 Opal Spot Pleco

I saw a few of the L082 plecos at my lfs, they are around 4in-5in, and they are asking $250 for one. Is that a good price or not?

Seems pretty over priced to me IMO. But they are worth whatever you are willing to pay

I never saw them before, so I really dont know how much it cost or how rare it is

They were around a good amount a couple years back. They should make it back around soon. I used to have 2 years back. Neat looking Pleco for sure

If you can get L82 at $250 dollars, that is a very good price.

Make sure they are L82 as the can easily be missed ID with other plecos such as L201, Hypancistrus contradens, LDA31 and others.
I suggest to do a little research on the specie in order to be prepare once they become available at your LFS.

I hope they become cheaper and more available to the hobby, as very little is known about these amazing species.
