I was wondering what a koi over 2 foot would go for how it looks aside just based on size

Your best bet is to find somebody who is shutting down their pond for the winter, and get their Koi for free, or cheap - but if you want show quality fish, be prepared to spend $250 - $800, and up.

thanks for the tip, looks like decent prices on the auction, they have one 16.5" Shiro Utsuri for 250$ buy it now or you could see how you did against the bidding (currently 80$) for a show quality koi of that size that's really good.
