I've never looked into stingray pricing before, and I would love to get one when I'm older. How much do the common species go for?

Motoro? Marbles? Leos? Tigers? Flowers? Jaguars?

Also, whats the biggest/smallest out of those?

Thanks!

anywhere from 50-2grands for the rays flowers tigers would be the largest retics the smallest... motoros are usuall 100 marbleds 200+ jaguar otorongos 600+ flowers 300 and tigers between 7&800.. leo and all other black rays 1500+ regular motoro best starter ray..

Thanks man! While were here though, anyone have jaguar pics? :)

Thanks, man. I'll probably be contacting you in the future for some CB motoros, just not yet. :)

And is there a rule to number of rays and tank size? And can you mix species without problems and still have them breed? Thanks!

Other small rays not in your list are the scobina, P14's and hystrix. When counting tail length all of these will be smaller when full grown than a retic. P14 and hystrix have approx. the same disk diameter as the retic but with a much shorter tail and scobina max about 12" disk.

None of these are more difficult to keep than the others but are only available captive bred at the moment so will cost you a bit more especially the p14.

The Itaituba ray (P14) can grow to a disk size of 20" and I would not say that this is a small ray. But they stay smaller than the other black rays.

I had read they only reach 16" (on Frank's site I think) but I agree 20" is not a small ray. Apologies for the mis-info!
