Why is it that the price of dats goes up exponentially with size? I have never seen another fish where a 4" is $15 and a 12" is $400

cuz they grow slowwwwwww and are harder to come by at a larger size.

Good point!:)

and if you are looking for ST (Aka: Datnioides Pulcher) or Widebar Datnoid/Siamese tiger fish they are banned from export. That means no supply and high demand... law of economics.

Sellers give a price they feel what is right on the fish they have on hand. And sellers who are willing to pay gets the fish basically want. Buyer and sellers agree upon the terms.. etc....

wait until it gets 18" up they usually go for $1,000 and up as well.

which tiger are u talkin about IT, NTT, ST?

"shoefreak03" don't even bring me back to that time.. i was giving it out like cheap... i remembered selling it at around $50 and up depending on the size and stable color....

i wish i did not sell a single one.. the rest that was left are now 8" up.. could have made some serious $$$. :(

maybe i could bring them in... AGAIN....:naughty::grinno::WHOA::lipsseale:

nah... lets bring in something regular.... something commonly available...;)

I will be waiting for the "regular" fish to come in.

Yup, ST's are veeery pricey...:naughty:

:( true... and they will get more expensive since there are no new baby ST's coming in. The available ST are growing up and will eventually hit a size that every hobbyist wants.. and price will go up with that as well... so for the lucky person who took all the ST in So. Cal. you just need to wait.. you'll make some $$$ if "you" decides to sell it (i don't know who it is...so don't pm me and ask who it is...).... :grinno:
