Does anyone know how to measure prime for smaller amounts?

1 ml is enough for 40 litres according to the bottle, but I want to do around 10 liters sometimes on my smaller tanks. I was thinking a dropper bottle and a drop per litre like some of the brands that come in them, but prime seems stronger.

I say don't worry, sometimes I don't even measure and do a few drops, wouldn't hurt your tank if you put extra.

I always overdose prime, you never know when the water company will use a extra dose of chlorine, plus prime is relatively cheap compared to how much we all spend on our fish. But I know that prime has the really small bottles out now that you can squirt with, and on the bottle it says 2 drops per gallon.

I always overdose my tanks too.. One cap full is for 50 gallons and i just throw 1 cap in my 40 gallon when i do a W/C.. It says you can overdose up to 5 times the dose under certain circumstances. But i never dose more than 2 times the normal dose.

cap is 5ml cap treats 50 gallons..... so get a syringe or eye dropper and measure out the closest ml.... but since you can do 5x tank dose i always just add a cap to each tank...

Thanks Dennisdeng that's the sort of thing I was looking for.

I've used a syringe before but since 1ml is enough for 40 litres it's a waste to use that much on 10 litres of water.

If the syringe you have is too big get a smaller one. Diabetics use some pretty small syringes if you can get your hands on one.
