Hey whats up again guys. I just got a eheim pro 3 2075 g160 in the mail today. Im about to throw it out the window. I have tried every thing in the world to get this thing primed and it isnt working for crap really getting super piss-d off. Any one out there. Had any simialar issue with these and can help me out i would greatly appreciate it. First time i have spent the extra coin to get a eheim to have it be a peice of crap. Thankx for your time.

Never metioned what i tried with this filter so far. i have tried it as below water level of as far as the tubes stretch cut in half almost 5 feet. To as low as 20 inches. tried priming with it full of water to begin with, and being empty, i tried filled the tubes full by sucking through the intake were the top piece comes of with the filter full of water. Pumped 1 times to 50 times. tried with the out take out of the water, and submerged in the water, i tried it full of media, medium full of medium, and with all the baskets empty completly with just the foam mechanical inserts, tried with both the tops of the intake and out take, and with one of each taken of them. Think i have covered all basis with this thing. Not at all how it shows it primes on you tube before i bought it. Thanks again

Other solutions to problems with priming: Well I figured it out, on the intake I had the tube slid up all the way on the part that hangs over the back of the tank. Seen in the directions the picture of the red ! showing not to slide it up all the way, so slid it down to just over the o-ring and waalaa.

with my 2260 i use to prime it by letting water fill the filter all the way by releasing the outlet hose lower than the inlet. when both hoses (inlet and outlet) filled with water and the filter filled with water i then plug in the motor.. best way.. as long as there isnt any air in filter and motor but filled with water it is considered primed..
