thanks mate, that particular fish is around 22". it's a 225gal aquarium, details can be easily found on the "my tank setup" on my profile panel.

as for what the gar is, instead of getting the answer off the profile panel, try taking a shot at it in the gar forum. thread titled gar id quiz.

Ive never really been a fan of gars but having seen all your pix they are somthing id keep if they were anywhere near as nice as yours
