Could I keep a large Synodontis Decorus with Molly fry? Strange combo I know but I want something else interesting in my tank with the fry until I can move the syno to my other tank.

i dnt think it wud b too bad....wat kind of cat is in ur pic

Also how big are the fry and how big is the catfish? Cause sometimes if the fish are so tiny the big fish wont even bother. Im talking about big fish like 10 inches, wont go after a fish thats like 1/4 of an inch, not worth it to them.

The syno is a foot long, the fry will be 1/4 - 1/2 an inch long. I was hoping to grow them to be atleast an inch to an inch and a half. The syno is kept with a bunch of electric blue cichlids? I think and they're pretty small, about 2 inches long(this is at an lfs, haven't bought him.. yet)

at night he will start chomping them. to be honest i wouldnt trust any catfish with my fry. when i was a noob i put a banjo cat in with mine. then i had none. haha i know this guy is much larger and as you mentioned, it wouldnt be much of a meal to him. but i would say no just to be safe imo

i wanted something in with my fry still tho and i ended up getting a crayfish and a little house for him to live in. he comes out and waves at me for shrimp pellets. works for me
