So I am probably moving to another state. It is a 2100 mile journey. Is it even worth trying to transport fish? I have:
2 Tiger O's
1 Turquoise Severum
2 Adult convicts (paired but separate)
about 35 convict babies
2 Senegal Bichirs
2 plecos
1 Gt
1 Salvini
5 rainbow fish
and a couple of tetras
These are not all in the same tank of course LOL.
If not I will probably be giving them all away.

I'd risk taking fish if you are attached to them, or rare enough that you worry about not being able to get more easily. With those you have, you should still take any that you feel are more like "pets" rather than just parts of a collection

thats a long trip, for the fish sake i'd prolly sell them to a person who you know would take good care of them. im thinking of eventually moving across country and even though i love my fish, id get rid of them before moving. there's always a risk that they could get injured during the trip, especially a long one like that

You can get an ac/dc converter(for about $15-50 depending on what kind & # of outlets) and hook up some air pumps and heaters which you might not need the heaters if you keep the car warm enough and when you stop for the night bring them in the hotel with you since I'm guessing 2100 miles you'll be going through cold conditions. I've taken my fish 800 miles without a single loss this way. I know your more than doubling my trip though. Where are you moving to?
