ok, here it goes,

right now in my care i have 4 freshwater baracuda,(Ctenolucius hujeta.)
two walking catfish,
chanell cat,
rapheal striped cat,
spotted upside down cat,
Black ghost knife,

i might be forgetting something but i think thats it,

now my question is,

Would a Arowana be an ok tank mate for the cudas??
They would be to big for him to eat, as far as i know,

right now they are very small.. like 1.5 inch,

i havent baught an arowana yet, but i want to,
they will live there life in a 240 gallon once raised in smaller tanks
(29 or 55gal)??

Now when introduced into the 240 gal in june, when a bit bigger, will they live fine together??
Will the cudas eat the arrow? or will it eat cudas?

Also, ive already been told against the walking cats, and the chanell, which could possibly eat the cudas, so i have found them a new home,

other then that, would it be ok? or are theese a NO for mixing?

thanx!

Eventually the cudas will probably become aro food:) It would only take the aro 6-8 months before he could eat 'em:)

how large are your hujetas? if they are large enough and the aro is small enough he could become lunch. but as adults my money would be on the aro. hujeta max out at a foot. most aro will easily reach two foot and grow 1-2 inches per month. if you havent already bought it try reading the sticky on choosing an aro, since you are in can. you have a great choice in aros if you have the $$$. the cats may also become a problem. i would just suggest watching them close when you make youre decision.

I think if you put him in the hujetas wont bother him since there is a group of them. The aro wont be mean since its not like HIS tank. But if you dont feed him feeders and get him on dry prepared foods i think he will grow up with the hujetas and not eat them even if they are small enough.
