I have a Albino Oscar. He's killing everything in my tank. I have a 150 gallon that I built a partition to seperate the smaller fish from the big guy until they are about the same size. and somehow he ate them all. Some got brave and were able to swim across and never made it back. some he waited till they got close enough to the screen and he somehow get a hold of them thru the sides. I have had it with him. He's costing me too much money. I'm thinking of giving it away. Unless someone has any suggestions.

You're putting fish that are small enough to eat in the tank with him. Stop doing that and the problem should be solved. Try growing them out in a different tank, or get a more secure divider.

If it can fit in its mouth-its a snack. get some bigger sized fish and just do some research if its compatible before you put it in the tank. A lot of bigger fish may wind up reversing the problem-killing the Oscar and then You will be trying to figure out what can go with the new big killer.

lmao,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,sounds like another Disney cartoon. Yeah you might want to just re evaluate the entire idea here and just start them all at the right size. Grow them in another tank. Your going to make your self get burnt out on fish keeping real fast if you keep doing this. Just go look in the mirror and say, hey, I need to change my thought process here, then just try something new. What types of fish are you trying to grow up to him?

Even if you finally do grow these fish out to his size whats to say these fish arent going to get bullied anyway. Get your head out of your rear end.

Thanks for the advice. Added some barbs his size and they have been fine. he messed with them at first but lost interest. I also added a pair of firemouths and the male spends his days chasing everything around the tank except the Oscar.

Now my Firemouth is becoming the problem child. He's beeting the snot out of my other firemouth. I have a ten gallon butno filter for it. hopefully I can get the tank going before it's too late.

Just some advice, but you may want to do some research before you go buying fish..........
