hey all
got hold of a nice 20cm plus jag that i think is female, great colour and looks healthy problem is fool i got it from only fed it feeder, blood worm and vienna sausage. i mostly feed pellet and def no feeder and it aint eating.
what i have done is raise the tank temp to 29c tried raw fish raw shirmp and chicken and still yet to get it to feed
advise please, need this girl for breeding project
regards Mark

Bit of a long shot but if you want to avoid live food altogether try soaking pellets in bloodworn first , ive done it in past with a fh , I just got some frozen bloodworm an a cup with handful of pellets and let it soak , try not to let them get too wet or it'll make a messy paste and it does make bit of mess in tank compared to normal feeding so bigger weekly wc , good luck :D

Vienna sausage, really? That's the first I've ever heard of that...

How long have you had the jag? If it has only been a day or two, I'd say you could wait another day or so before trying to feed again, and she should be hungry enough to try whatever you're feeding. The bloodworm/pellet mixture should entice her enough by smell. Good luck!

had her for a month and eats min, phone up guy got her from and that was his answer
as yet no luck with blood worms but will get it rite i am sure
