Hi, I have these little white things stuck to the walls of my tank and they are multiplying very fast. They can be no bigger then a grain of sand or get a around 5 mm when stretching out while moving. They seem to be fixed on the walls of the tank and not swimming freely. They are everywhere now in the tank after 3 days. They do not seem to bother my fish but I am worried and don't want to lose my fish. What are these? Where did they come from? How do I treat the tank and get rid of them? Thanks for your time to read my question and I hope you have an answer.

They are called planaria. They're harmless and just eat the excess nutrients in the water. If you want them to recede out of sight, cut back on feeding and do more water changes.

sounds likw algea....Get a magnet scraper and clean off....unless i'm not reading your post right.....reach in with a clean rag and see if you can wipe them off the glass

Oh yea and guys im not really sure but there seems to a layer of something at the the top of my tank my brother said its foam but im not sure how to explain how it looks like
