I have him in with a hoplias, a hujeta and an oscar.
The problem is 3 of them have the same diet and the bichir eats it all, the oscar eats pellets and sometimes bits of cockle.
This leads to overfeeding of the bichir. The wolf rarely eats straight away, he's the more nocturnal of the bunch.
And if the hujeta doesn't catch a piece of beefheart as soon as it floats down, it takes him a while to pick it off the gravel.
The bichir ends up eating 3 times what he should, having his guts absolutely loaded, huge visible lumps, and sometimes regurgitates a chunk or 2.
This can't be too healthy for the bichir, and it means the other 2 get less food.
has anyone experienced similar and has a solution?
