i came home in the morning and i see 2 of my 4 2 inch ocel pbass chilling on the floor, i see that there color has changed to a dark shade, i also see one of them twitching wildly and almost swimming on its side...

anyone know whats wrong and what i should do?

Not sure what it is but it doesnt sound like it will end well. But if I were you, I would crank the heat up to 86f and put some salt in there with it.

-When was the last time you did a water change?

-Young cichla can get ich very easily and if they are eating guppies they could also have something from them.

I would be willing to bet you need to do a water change checkthe Amonia and nitrites out of wack for sure i remember you saying your filtration was a magnum350 not much bio and you are running a bare bottom tank not that much room for bacteria to grow .I would also ad an aqua clear 50 HOB to your tanks filtration and maybe some gravel or sand!!And crank the heat to 88 maybe 89.
