Just picked up a very nice healthy Boulengerella sp. but at the LFS it's mouth got stuck on the net and it couldn't get loose... the owner cut around the fish's mouth and now the fish has a little bit net in its mouth. Do you guy's think it'll naturally come out or should I net him and remove it? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

pics? Is the net preventing the fish from opening its mouth?

Wait a few days. Boullengerellas are very skittish and they need some time to adapt to tank movimentation, if you can´t net her in your first try it is possible that she solve the problem for you by crashing her jaw against the glass. I have 4 and after 3 weeks they start to be less skittish. In my first week...everytime that I put a hand inside the tank the result was a broken nose.

Good luck!

Pics as promised. Netting hasn't come off yet so will be removin it today. He seems to have got the netting caught on his teeth, but when I look I don't see any teeth in his mouth lol
