problem with cichlasoma ornatum

The problem is I dont have any!! does anyone here have any, know any onfo about em, care info, prices, where to buy em. Did a quick search and came up short.

All i know is that their rare, rarer than beeni......
i saw a thread on w********* some guy had a pair of them, they are one of the most stunning cichlids ive seen.
ive asked a importer to get me some, but its very hard to get them, i will eventually get a pair tho

I was recently informed about this fish the other day. prior to that, I thought I knew about every cichlid kept in aquariums.

Honestly I think unless you are able to collect them yourself, they might as well not exist.

Yeah i only just herd about them last week, straight away i asked around the importers but with no luck.......

Oliver at Below water had a few (20ish) at $100 for a 1" fish. I think he's probably the only one the North America with them right now.

They're nice, but not that nice.

does he have a websit? looks like he isnt on here very much, and I didnt see ornatum on his posted fish list.

He had them on his list in mid-late April.

wild cubans would also be a very nice find!! Some folks must have bought those ornatum for him to be out of stock. If any mfkers did, please post here!!
