Hey, I have a Aqua CF1200 & Fluval 305 running in my 110 Gallon, i have also placed a Fluval U3 just for a little extra help.

The tank has glass over hangs and very tiny holes in the back corners, just enough room to squash the intake and outtake tubes through. The spray bar sits on the other side of the tank half way down.

I'm not sure there is enough water flow as i'm getting white scum sometimes, i angle the flows differently for the Fluvals, but the Aqua Cf 1200 would mean cutting the pipe etc.

Any ideas people? :nilly:

Add a powerhead & see if that helps. Otherwise, add an AquaClear 110 hang-on-back filter, in addition to your existing filter. That would be best I think.

Can you not get some hang on back tubes and mod the lid?

Okay, it does'nt have a lid. Thats the problem the 5ft lumnaire lets too much light into the room and my wife hates it.

Any lighting ideas. The tank measures 72"x18"x24"

Thanks for the help.

LED's dont give off reflected light like flourescents do, but it takes some DIY work to get it right. Check out some of the LED threads in the DIY section. Doesn't cost much...LED x-mas lights are probably dirt cheap right now!
