problem with feeding rtc

when i put massivore in it the rtc cant find it. my gravel is pretty big just like the size of massivore so the rtc cant tell the difference. what should i do.

id change yor gravel to a finer type or run barebottom iv heard stories of red tailed cats choking on pebbles but depends how big ur rtc is and how big the pebbles are

hmmmm....change your gravel

Big cats can and will eat and attempt to ingest large pebbles that cannot run through their digestive tracks. I have experienced similar problems when I started keeping shovelnose.
If its a mixed substrate, remove all the large pebbles. If not, remove all and start over with smaller and finer substrate.
Its a pain in the arse, but it will sure beat losing your RTC to a big pebble!
