Hi MFK, i have a problem with my existing 55g mbuna tank. The tank has been running for about a year now and all the fish are around 4-5 inches. The stock includes:
Yellow tail acei x4
cobalt zebra x4
yellow lab x4
red zebra x2
kenyi x1
afra cobue x4
jack dempsey x1
bushynose pleco x1
Yes i know this is way overstocked. The JD is going into my 120g with other sa/ca cichlids. I was wondering what can i remove to help the tank in terms of aggresion and bioload.

Suprisingly there has been only one death in the tank and that was a red tail shark. The africans piked on him like crazy. The boss is the JD and the biggest red zebra.

Any help on improving my tank would be great ty!

Personally, I'd get rid of the kenyi and the the cobalt zebras as they'll inevitably get the biggest (and most aggressive) of the lot. Definitely move the JD. He should not be in hard water.
