Hi! I recently bought a Channa Bleheri from my LFS. After bringing him home, I noticed he has a slight protruding anus (it sort of sticks out a bit more than his belly). It was also a bit inflammed when I brought him back on Friday, and his poo was whitish and a bit runny, but that sort of subsided over the weekend.
He's seems to have settled into my tank pretty well and is very active. He also has a good appetite for the mp I've been feeding him (he's already eating from my hand). I've already started a dosage of API's Pimafix and Melafix.
Does anyone know what it could be? Could it just be constipation? Or could it be internal parasites? He wasn't kept in the best of conditions (4" fish in a 6" tank) and probably wasn't fed much either. I'll try to post pictures when I can. Thanks for any help provided!
