So I'm new to the small fish world, I've kept a lot but now living in an apartment by my self I have no room to bring my huge tanks so I got a 30long, and always wanted a planted tank with schooling fish. So the tank is cycled every water parameter is in check, only problem is I moved to Florida and unlike where I previously lived the ph is very high. So with the help of a bunch of ph regulator it's now at the 7.0 range most Amazon fish like. the water has lots of live plants and drift wood.
Now for the issue the Corry cats are acclimated to the super high ph at the pet store, so not thinking I introduced them into the tank with a less extensive acclimating period, all other fish survived, neons, barbs, and so on. So second time around I waited for about an hour slowly acclimating them into the new water. But they are starting to act funny again are they that supseptable to ph change if so next step I guess would be to use a drip type acclimation system? For how log do you recommend and well basically what's the best way to do it?
Thanks for your help
