problems with leos

okay, so today my red bulb blew out so I had to use a regular 60w bulb. I was looking at my leo and she had small wounds all over her body. I immediatly knew it was my other tangerine constantly biting her. She isn't aggressive she is just super food responsive. anything that moves she bites. I know this because at night I will hear alot of movement in the tank.

IDk why she is like this. I'm thinking of giving her up which I really don't want too. Any suggestions or opinions?

I had the same problem with my first pair of leopard geckos years ago. The male was very aggressive during feeding time. The result wasn't pretty one day and it involved part of my female’s tail and a couple toes off the male in her defense. So I separated them during feeding time and fed them each individually in a Rubbermaid tub. That way I could observe them feeding without having to worry about substrate ingestion or uneaten food left in the tank. The aggression in the male stopped after I did this. So perhaps you could give that a try and see if it has any effect. If that doesn’t work I’d just separate them into different tanks.

I would separate them rather than give them up. It's hard to do.

Yep, I'd separate them too. Leos don't need too specialized of a setup, so it shouldn't be too hard to set up a second cage

Well it can be a "hot female"

I think my tangerine actually might be a male. I just seperated them.
