Hi, I have several plants in my aquarium. Some arent looking too good. Some leaves are partially brown and 1 plant has leaves that are transparent and basically deteriorated. Ive only had these plants for a short time, and most of them i got already had some brown spots and partial deterioration. I have also been getting unusual algae in my tank. And I believe it may be from the plants. Cause I dont overfeed, have good filtration and I maintain the tank pretty good.
I have this plant that appears to have hairy/fuzzy leaves. I dont know if this is how the plant is or its something else. I dont know the names of all my plants or their full names. I dont have a camera handy right now so I cant provide pics. But I did manage to find the plant with fuzzy leaves on the net, I am not sure if this IS the plant or similar:
Among these, I have some Amazon Swords, Some kinda Fern plants, Something called Dragon Fly something, and the others I cant remember.
I'd like to do something about possible algae and also something to help the plants out. I cant afford to buy any machines and dont have room for it. Is there something simple and easy I can do to help them out?
Also, if you could even be more helpful and list some easy/common plants that require little care/maintenance that would be good for beginners, I'd appreciate it.
