Does anyone keep this species or know anything about it?
I recently received three in a mixed lot auction, but the little information I've found on them doesn't seem to be reliable. For example, one site said the water temperature in their normal habitat is between 40-60 degrees year-round. But when I look various sites for information on Cuba, they say that (even in the winter) the coldest the water gets is the low 70s... and that aside, when my boyfriend used to catch them as a child they were always in "warm" water. But, if the water requirements aren't correct am I supposed to believe the rest of the information I'm finding on this species?
I'm going to go with trial and error for right now, and just use a generic crayfish set-up and diet for them. But I'm hoping someone will have information I can use. Thanks! ^_^
