LFS has about a dozen of them and i was thinking of geting one for my 120 but i coudent find out mutch on the net my main questions are do only get to 10"? is there life span only to 4 years? and if anyone that has has one whats there behavior, hardyness ect? and anyother info

they are as hard as nails and can grow to about 14inch

they grow fast to about 6inch but it will take 3-4yrs for them to grow to 12inch

as for agression each one is diffrent

i have hrd people say that they have had fish killed buy a flacg tail but i think it would take a very sick fish to just lay their and get sucked to death buy a flag tail just keep an eye on them and if you see them sucking on any fish remove the flag tail and try another

i have had 4 x flag tails at diffrent times 2 sucked on the rays and 2 were fine

actually they can grow much faster if given the right conditions. Mine went from 2.5" to 10.5 " in a little over a year.
