About how big do these species grow? do they really eat algae? and what is the best types of food to feed them? 6 of my Flagtails is currently eating the new life spectrum sinking pellets but I read through some research over the internet stating that it also required to have some vegetate diet every now and then...is it true? if so what brand of wafers do you guys recommend?

Jaraqui are an extremely effective algae eater. When a fresh juvenile is introduced to a tank, it will almost immediately start sampling it's environment. During this time, a Jaraqui can rid a tank free from many forms of algae within a few days. Initially when foods are offered, they are ignored. However due to the fish's voracious appetite, the food will be inevitably sampled. The NLS Cichlid formula is perfect for a base food, giving much of the needed vegetable content.
